In Honor of Lindsey Rose Parke

On January 23rd 2026, our lives changed forever. Lindsey Rose Parke was a passenger in a vehicle that crashed after the driver struck a tree and near by building while traveling at more than double the speed limit. Lindsey and her friend lost there lives that night. What should have been an ordinary familiar drive home ended in a preventable tragedy.

Lindsey’s story

Lindsey only had 19 years of life, but the impact she made will last forever. From a young age, she knew she wanted to help others. While still in high school, she joined her local cadet program and the BOCES EMT program. By graduation, she was a NYS EMT and proudly joined her local fire department as a firefighter.

Outside of serving her community , Lindsey had a creative spirit. She loved to bake and dreamed of opening her own bakery, Rosies Cupcakes. Lindsey would make hundreds of cupcakes during holidays for family, neighbors, the firehouse, and local shelters. Whether she was making cupcakes from scratch , bedazzling , painting ,or creating custom designs with her Cricut. She poured her heart into everything she made.

Lindseys courage, compassion, and selflessness defined who she was. She never hesitated to stop for someone in need. Whether it was an emergency on the road, someone down on there luck, or simply someone who needed a friend. She gave her time, her heart, and her energy without expecting anything in return. She had a way of making everyone feel important. Her laugh could light up a room, her smile was welcoming, and her kindness left an everlasting love. She celebrated others, stood by people she loved through there best and hardest days, and always found a way to make you laugh. She dreamed of traveling the world, growing old with her family and having her own big family one day. This is just a small bit of how great of a person she was.

Lindseys legacy is one of compassion, creativity and love. Lindsey would do anything to help someone else and always put others first. Unfortunately, not everyone approaches life with the responsibility and same regard for others. If more people made better choices behind the wheel, countless tragedies including ours could be prevented. Through the Lindsey Rose Parke Foundation we honor the life she lived by creating a lasting change in her honor!

Our Mission

While nothing will ever bring back Lindsey and her friend , we knew we couldn’t let her story end there. We want to continue spreading the compassion, kindness, and selflessness she lived by everyday.

That’s why we created the Lindsey Rose Parke Foundation.

Our mission is to honor Lindsey Rose by turning unimaginable loss into purpose. We are committed to raising awareness about the devastating consequences of reckless driving, advocating for safer roads, stronger laws, safer drivers, and creating opportunities that reflect everything Lindsey stood for

Kindness , Service , Compassion and Hope

Through community events , scholarships , safe driving, and educational initiatives. We hope to inspire others to look out for one another, make responsible choices behind the wheel , and leave the world a little better than how they found it just like Lindsey lived everyday.

This foundation is about making change and celebrating how Lindsey lived.

Together, we can create lasting change. Every family believes it could never happen to them, until one phone call changes everything. Through awareness, action , and education we can help prevent another family from the same heartbreak and save lives.

Every life we touch, every family we help, every driver we educate, every act of kindness inspired by her name , and most importantly every life that is saved from reckless driving. Keeps her legacy alive.
